About Aardvarks.
Friday, April 27th, 2007Despite the fact that this blog is a company blog for a new media company with offices in London, it only seems fair to open our new company blog with a little bit of information about those much misunderstood animals that our company is named after.
The name aardvark, as everyone knows, comes from the Dutch for “Earth Pig”, this despite the fact that the aardvark isn’t really related to pigs except in the most distant, well-we’re-all-mammals-together kind of way.
Aardvarks come from Africa. And first in the dictionary. And we like ‘em.
